We were just in awe of the amount of snow that accumulated so quickly!

Winter Wonderland

ARCTIC BLAST - for you local portlanders...we are SOOOO tired of them calling this snow/ice storm an ARCTIC BLAST. PA-LEASE...like this weather is anything like the arctic. All we want to do is watch a quick weather forecast and we have to hear all about the ARCTIC BLAST hitting the Portland area. So annoying!

We headed out into the snow/ice on a walk to the grocery store. It was nice to get out and enjoy the beautiful winter elements. This pond in our neighborhood looked so beautiful all frozen over. We love the snow, but the ice has got to leave... so we can be out n' about. We may end up having to finish up our Christmas shopping online if this storm doesn't leave soon!

Macey's Trip to Santa

Macey has been waiting all season to go and see Santa.  She couldn't wait any longer, so we broke down and took her after she begged extremely hard...

White Christmas

For those of you who don't know how much I LOVE the snow, it was very fun to have huge, beautiful snow flakes fall all day on my birthday. We have had snow all week long and it has felt like Christmas!!!  

I am giddy with Christmas Cheer! Rarely does it snow all week, and never  BEFORE christmas. Today my wonderful husband got off work early and we went out shopping at an outdoor shopping center (Bridgeport Village). We walked hand in hand with the snow falling on us. It was so fun! Below are pix of Macey enjoying her first snow and Me enjoying my first birthday as a Mommy!!!

Erik took me shopping then out to dinner at Ruths Chris. We enjoyed WONDERFUL food and each others company (baby free). Auntie Holly stayed and babysat.

My big brother had my mom dig up some old photos of Christmas morning joy. They are just too funny to not share with all of our friends and family! Below is a picture of me (in the high chair) with what appears to be chocolate all over my face!

Oh Christmas Tree...

We've been a little busy...so let's catch up on some of things we've done:

So a week ago we headed out for the tree hunt! Erik and I look forward to going to Christmas tree farms to hunt for the perfect tree for our home! It was even more exciting this year to have miss Macey with us. She is such a happy little thing everwhere we go! We went to a really nice farm that had tall, skinny nobles. Just what we were looking for! 

By the time we settled on a tree Macey was all tuckered out...

Fun with Grandpa & Grandma Timmons

Dad & Julie Timmons came to visit over the Thanksgiving holiday. It was so much fun to have them here! Macey loves her Grandma & Grandpa and they got alot of special one on one time with her. We had the house decorated for x-mas and celebrated x-mas with them since we won't be seeing them till January.

One evening we went downtown to see the square tree all lit up! We enjoyed some starbucks while we walked and browsed through stores...it was a really nice evening.

Baby Kaia

Our good friends Austin & Niki delivered a tiny, beautiful baby girl on November 29th. She is only 5lbs!!! We are so excited for them and the new memeber of their family! Congratulations guys!
